Take away the control and what do you have left? Desire.
Melissa is smart, confident and head strong. She has her dream career and is a step away from becoming a partner at Grimly and Vimes.  Richard ruins her perfect plan when he uncovers a serious indiscretion in her past and forces her to be his office sex slave for a week in return for his silence. But Melissa finds out that she enjoys being told what to do. She craves punishment and adores to be put in her place and Richard does it so perfectly. It was not in her plan to fall in love but how will she cope when it happens anyway

Title: Switching The Control
Author: Victoria Blisse
Genre: Erotica/BDSM
Publisher: Total E Bound

I want to that Writer Marketing Services for providing me with a review copy of this book.  Switching The Control was such a fun, hot read.  I thought I would have trouble with the premise of the book, but I didn't. The sex scenes between Richard and Melissa were super hot, and I found myself wishing this book was a bit longer.   I loved watching Melissa grow more confident, and see Richards control slip when he was around her.  I want to say more about this book, but it's a quick read and I don't want to ruin anything.

This is the perfect read when you are in the mood for something hot and steamy. If you've been curious to try a book with BDSM in it, I recommend this one because the scenes are tastefully done and it's not too graphic. I had this book read in one sitting, and really can't wait to read more by this author.

Which character was harder to write, Melissa or Richard?
They were both an absolute pleasure to write, though the way I wrote the story it was more difficult to get Richard’s point of view over so I suppose it was Richard who was a little more challenging.

What was the most fun scene to write?
I had fun with it all, it’s very difficult to pinpoint one scene I enjoyed the best but I did enjoy turning the tables on Richard. I don’t want to give too much away but Melissa gets to have her moment as top dog…but it doesn’t all go exactly to plan.

What is your favorite book, and has it influenced your writing at all?
It’s so hard for me to pick just one favourite book. I have loads of them!
I think though will pick one of my childhood faves, The BFG. I loved Roald Dahl as a
kid and I love him just as much as a grown up. I think his humour has influenced me,
I always try to bring a bit of funny into my work. I think it makes characters more
human when they throw about the odd pun or  two or get a little sarcastic.

How would Melissa and Richard describe each other?
Well I think it might depend on which part of the story you ask them the question! However
I think Richard will tell you that Melissa is hot, curvy and a woman not to be messed with.
He’d be very complimentary about her business sense and would tell you she’s very hard
working. He also might tell you she’s a bit of a bitch, depending on what mood he’s in at
        the time.

Melissa would tell you Richard was okay, a bit cocky and a bit bossy sometimes but generally
agreeable. She’d probably mention that he’s tall, a he’s got nice, wide shoulders. She might
admit he’s quite good looking if you push her a bit.

Do you listen to music while you write? Does each book call for its own soundtrack
or do you play the same artist over and over again?
It depends on many factors, really. Sometimes I write in as close to silence as I can get, other
times I’ll want music. I am blessed with a husband who makes the best music mixes ever, so
if I am listening to music it’ll probably be one of them. I’ll get everything from More than
Word  by Xtreme (our song) to Don’t Worry, Be Happy. I like a bit of variety!

EXCERPT

Excerpt: His mouth was strong and confident but not too possessive. I hooked my hands around the back of his neck and pulled him tighter to me, I wanted to feel the hardness of his chest against me. I wanted more than just the kiss that ravaged my mouth. So much was said in that kiss. Mutual loneliness was explored and banished, the rules were written and scrunched up and thrown away. I knew that it was not part of the deal. We were partners in lust and I did not have to call him ‘sir’ or follow his instructions.
I also knew that I would do that for him if he wanted me to.
His hands cupped my back as his lips slipped down over my chin to my neck. He nibbled and kissed as his fingers drew back and covered my breast possessively.
“I’ve wanted to nibble right here for so long,” he confessed between bites and kisses. “This hollow here cried to be kissed.”
I moaned as his lips sunk lower into the ‘v’ of my cleavage. He managed to hook his fingers into a gap between buttons and, with a few determined tugs, my blouse fell open. He continued kissing down my chest, along the edge of the lace to the centre of my breasts. I stroked my hands through his hair. It was silky and soft and I loved the sound of his moans as I played with the strands. It was such an intimate moment, my heart seized from a strange mix of contentment and deep seated fear.
He distracted me by pulling up from his kissing and pulling my shirt away from my arms. I took the opportunity to get my hands on his buttons. He’d lost the tie at an earlier point so it was just a matter of popping open each one until I could see the perfection of his hair smattered chest between the two sides of the delicate baby blue material. Once he’d leant forward, pushed away my top and kissed me, I forced him back, slid off his shirt and forced my lips onto his. We fought back and forward for a time, seeing who could shove the other further back. Laughs and giggles bubbled out between kisses as we fought playfully.
He overwhelmed me in the end and pushed me until my back hit the sofa arm. I surrendered to him. I wanted to feel his weight on top of me, his naked chest pressing against mine. His kisses slipped again, over my cheek and to my ear.
“I won,” he whispered before sucking my lobe gently between his teeth.
“No,” I gasped. “I’m pretty certain I’m the winner here.”
